Rowdy Poppy
Founded in 2018 by Master Gardener Kim Zimmerman, Rowdy Poppy is a queer, woman-owned and sustainably-grown micro floral farm and design house curating some of Denver’s most stunning blooms and bouquets. As a member of ASCFG, sustainable flower farming is the ethos of Rowdy Poppy and the majority of their blooms are sourced from their own micro-farm during the growing season while partnering with other local flower farms and U.S. growers to round out the selection of flora.
When Rowdy Poppy was opening their studio in the RiNo Arts District in the summer of 2024, they reached out to Hard Knoch for support with a strategic communications plan that would amplify their unique story, sustainable practices, and creative vision. We developed a PR and social media campaign that positioned Rowdy Poppy as both a local Denver treasure and national leader in sustainable floriculture.
Following the successful studio launch, Hard Knoch PR continues to represent Rowdy Poppy for PR initiatives while creating captivating social content that resonates with their community, averaging 3,000+ views and hundreds of engagements per post.
