Founded in 2006, SAME (So All May Eat) Café holds the distinction of being the longest-running nonprofit restaurant in the United States. This pioneering Denver establishment has revolutionized food accessibility through its innovative participation-based model, where guests contribute what they can—whether through time, money, or produce—ensuring everyone has access to healthy meals regardless of financial circumstances.

The café features a daily rotating menu of two salads, two soups, and two pizzas, all crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Every day, SAME Café ensures gluten-free and vegetarian options are available, making healthy dining accessible to guests with various dietary needs. In 2024 alone, the café served over 22,000 meals to Denver community members, embodying their mission of creating community through healthy food access.
